Italian food and drink in the [Greater Toronto Area]

That’s around the going rate for fancy Italian sandwiches around Dundas West, Mattachioni in The Junction, and Ai Fam on Harbord, right now. I guess I’m okay with that.

The sandwich in the photo from Ariete e Toro resembles a sandwich I ordered in Tuscany (not in Florence) in 2017.

I have been finding a $16 or $18 Italian sandwich more satisfying than most $28 pastas. I never order the Secondi mains anymore, at the Italian restos they have them.

I will check it out soon.

That said, I’m also kinda watching my carbs and portions, so I probably should focus on Italian salads, not sandwiches. LOL

Anyone else attempting to stick to a regimen right now?
