I went looking for parts at WF for soup after thanksgiving, and they said they ran out of everything before thanksgiving, so there were no turkeys and no parts.
I wonder if I might have to wait for after Xmas to get parts. The holidays are such a blur that I can’t really remember the exact timing either.
Back in 2024 with the seemingly annual question, and the parts now about $5.99 a pound!

My local stores haven’t had turkey parts post Thanksgiving except for turkey necks. Which begs the question – what are they doing with the other parts?? If they were offering turkey specials in the deli and prepared food sections, that would make sense but I haven’t seen anything like that the last week.

Here’s a sous vide turkey leg confit recipe.
I’m going to use about 15 grams of this garlic confit I made earlier, instead of the smashed cloves and halves heads in the Epicurious recipe.
