I made crepes for breakfast with lemon and sugar.
Was hoping to make a king cake (I have before, once, and have two plastic babies saved up) but unlikely this year. Maybe a gumbo later in the week. This is the one day that I really miss being in south Louisiana, where I was born and raised. I made crabmeat fried rice yesterday, which I first encountered there.

There’s oyster shooters, muffuletta, Cajun chicken and andouille sausage pot pie, BBQ shrimp po boys, Creole mac n cheese w/lobster and andouille sausage, and jumbo turtle cookies with vanilla ice cream and pecan praline sauce
