The Miyabi Kaizen 8 inch Chef knife for $99 is actually a real nice deal for anyone interested in Japanese-Western knife. I have the pleasure of testing one for a few days. I wrote a short review a year and half ago.
It is beautiful and I would rank it a better than the Tojiro DP Chef’s knife (in term of profile and finish), which by all means is also a good knife too. I still use my Tojiro often.
I also like the Shun Asian Chef’s knife above, but it is a little short at 7 inch.
