Happy Birthday, Moka Pot!

What’s “reasonably priced” to you?

I’ll occasionally use mine for after-dinner coffee, when I don’t want to fire up the espresso machine and wait the 1/2 hour warm up time for one double shot.

My friends in Italy have one that was about €130 and are happy with it. But I think I have decided to use my Moka pot and I got a milk foam device.

I’ll take one, if your endorsement comes with the $14,000 plus tax that it takes to buy one.

When I lived in Ecuador, it’s how they brew. Not Moka in particular, but it’s steamed coffee and muy strong.

I have had the 6 cup for years . Finally learned how to use it . Dont pack your ground coffee in the cylinder. Tap on your counter to settle the fresh grounds. Put on the stove to medium low heat with the lid open . It takes longer . You want to avoid that volcanic boil

Apparently I’ve been using mine wrong for forever. Going down to try it again with these tips plus the ones in the video upthread…

I like using them but I hate having to clean them out, especially since hold so much heat.
