From the Copper River to us in two days!! Incredible deep red color.
We’ve bought Copper River salmon before - very pricey $$$$. Didnt have the same color at all. My friend in Alaska thought we did not have ‘real’ CR salmon, and I think this is proof. Her son is the guy who traveled 6 hrs to the river💕

When I was first starting to cook “fancy,” about 25 30 (forgot how old I am!) years ago, I bought some Copper River salmon from the very good fish market across the street from my apartment. It was by far the most expensive thing I’d ever bought to cook myself, and I was terrified of screwing it up. But I didn’t! Yay, me.

Alaskan wild salmon is quite an extraordinary fresh catch.

I smoked some Copper River salmon a couple weeks ago. It was tasty however I don’t eat a lot of fish.
