Yup, that’s what I meant. I see all responses there - some are Hidden Reply responses. But I don’t know that they’re Hidden Replies unless I click on my avatar to see who responded. So to “clear” them, I just scroll down to that post, open it, and then move on to the next thread I want to read.
I don’t believe that happened before the software update – had never noticed it before today
Well, I’ve been seeing it for awhile now. Again, maybe it’s an individual setting.

As I was scrolling through the current WFD #103 thread (3:25 p.m. EST), the site arbitrarily logged me out and I got this message.
This is the 2nd time in the past week since the software was upgraded/changed that it’s done this while reading/posting from my phone.

Then that probably means its one of the unofficial plugins that’s causing trouble. My guess is the one that we use to display the map on the right side of a city dining forum.
If that’s indeed that one, the unfortunate option for us is either to do without the map on the right side (you can still click into it), or live with the bugs.
Maybe. Have you tried reloading to see if you get logged back in? It works for me usually.
That one I don’t really know what’s going on. If you use safe mode, does the unread count correct itself?
Thanks, I am going to have to play with the settings a bit. The software hasn’t yet utilized all the CPU / memory resources that are available. So a bit of optimization is needed.
Despite the alarming nature of the warning message, the server is doing pretty ok actually.
Why, I always try to be safe

Just wanted to let you know since I had circled back that it was gone.
Performance doesn’t seem to be affected, other than occasionally being slow to load.
I have never used or even noticed the map — would it be a great loss to remove it? (Especially if someone can still click into it if it was a feature they relied on.)
I’ve spotted a minor issue since the update.
When I get bored (or whatever) with a topic, I hit the “dismiss” button and check the box to “stop tracking these topics so they never show up as unread for me again”.
Doesnt seem to be working now and checked threads are continuing to appear as unread.

Try changing the Watching to Muted or Normal at the bottom of a particular thread. This has always worked for me.
I have done that with most threads that don’t interest me and continue to pop up as new. They’re set to normal, but I still often have to click ‘dismiss’ nonetheless.
This is the method I use.
The blue dots remain after I’ve read a “new” topic. 
I just got a new one this evening. When trying to “fork” a post I received an error message (I did not have permission to access that resource?). Tried three times–same error. Tried to fork another post on the same thread and it was fine. Tried the post I originally tried to “fork” and got the error again. I’m not sure this is related to the upgrade, but it’s certainly something I have never experienced before.
