For braised Green beans with Tomatoes and Garlic

This is becoming a staple dish for us. I use tomato (fresh or canned), Trader Joe’s French green beans (frozen), olive oil + herbs (my sub for traditional garlic) and slow cook on low (instant pot setting) overnight, then a few more hours uncovered to thicken. Just ate a version with olive oil from several jars of tuna + leftover bacon drippings–excellent!

I’d love to grow green beans for this… :slight_smile:

It’s time!

Here’s my latest pot.

These beans are not from the garden, they are bagged from Taylor Farms, and have a somewhat concerning “use by” date that seems to be several weeks away from purchase. :thinking: Looking forward to home grown.
