Caraway. Hate hate hate it on its own, but it’s kind of essential in rye for a reuben. I dislike it in most anything else (way to ruin sauerkraut).
Also, cloves. But they are required in Rotkohl aka braised red cabbage. I tend to use just a dash of ground vs. accidentally biting on one of those mofos (or I pick them out before serving).
Bananas. Useless fruit on its own, but perfection frozen or as part of a sundae.
