Your Favorite Coffee Cup

Do you always reach for the same cup for your morning coffee? Is it yours alone, or do you share? What distinguishes it, a printed witicism, your name, its shape or egonomics, or its provenance? Was it a remembrance or momento? Mine is a mug I got as a momento of a trip to Boston, and a dive diner there. The owners were great, and insisted I sit on “Tony Bourdain’s” barstool. Special dishes

It is pretty evident that the next generations after Baby Boomers are progressively less and less interested in china. If a Boomer offers china to their kids, they need to be prepared for “no thanks” or the like. However, special china is still being offered for Christmas, Chanukah, Thanksgiving, Easter, Passover, the Fourth of July, etc. If younger folk do not want this stuff, they must be marketing to Boomers. wine glasses

@ninkat and I are having a discussion about wine glasses, thought I’d start a topic. we have some 15 year old Reidel Somm and vinum when they were the only game in town. After a bit, we needed a lot of glasses for parties/charity wine tastings my wife ran, so we bought a bunch of (>100 I think) bormioli.
