Favorite frozen pizza (brands, specific versions, etc.)

In my case, the awfulness transcends mere gustatory misery. #4 was literally a gut bomb, costing me sleep.

Spoiler alert: it’s Stouffers french bread pizza.

Well, there you go, I’m in good company!

My favorite is the deluxe, which is ever harder to find than the cheese or the pepperoni. Gonna go out this afternoon and stock up. Along with some little Haagen Dazs ice creams. Gotta be prepared.

You have to have the essentials on hand at all times

I used to go through boxes of Stouffers french bread pizza as afterschool snacks.

I used to make spam sandwiches using Stouffers as the “bread”.

Good memories.

Has anyone tried the Tillamook frozen pizza?

Love their thick-shredded cheese; didn’t know they did pizzas.

when i tried it, i thought the dough was the weak link. it either needed to be thinner or thicker – pick a lane. if i hadn’t picked it up on sale for $5 i would have thought not worth it. but it was an okay, middle of the pack offering. as it stands, they should probably just stick to dairy.

I’ve had it. I’d say it’s just a slightly better than average frozen pizza. I’ve only bought it once.

Glad I asked, though I don’t tend to buy frozen pizza. I was just curious, as I really like their cheese & ice cream

I like Tillamook cheese and ice cream, too. I was hoping for better with their pizza. It’s not bad. If it were a few dollars cheaper, I 'd probably buy it occasionally.

Hearth & Fire is a brand that I couldn’t bring myself to buy at the regular price. I happened to find it on sale recently and tried their pepperoni pizza. That one is one of the best frozen pizzas I’ve had but very overpriced.

I just checked, and that brand seems to be only available in Denver, Chicago & Atlanta.

I don’t know how widely available Hearth & Fire is, but I’m 250 miles from Denver, and it’s available here.

Saw this brand today, right above Rao’s. Anyone familiar? Comments?

Recently bought Urban Pie Pepperoni Rosa Artisan Crust at Whole Foods. We had it last night, and thought it was pretty good for frozen. They make a couple of other flavors, but the husband has to have meat on his pizza!

I never understood meat on pizza, and I’m not even vegetarian (like, not even close) — gimme a good margherita, or funghi, or spinachi, and I’m happy. Especially the monstrosity that is the ‘meat lover’ pizza.

Yea, no.
