Demeyere Nanotouch

Hi all.

I’m currently spending some time in Belgium. And have come across a new version of the Demeyere silver line 7 called “Nano touch” it has a new surface but shouldn’t be a non stick.

Anyone of you guys knows if it’s any good.

Also. The silver line is only 3 mm thick. Anyone who has experienced any problems with warping using there thinner lines on induction cooktops?

Thanks
Søren

I don’t see them here yet.

For those who read French.

Thanks.

Gave a bit of info

For anyone who is interested, the only place I’ve been able to find it for sale who ships outside of Belgium is the site I mentioned above.

Yes they have pages in English and German.

I’d like to try one. I have an induction cooktop.

OK. I got one. It is affirmatively not nonstick. It weighs a little more than 2 lbs 14 oz. My Demeyere pro-line, also 24 cm, weighs 3 lbs 14 oz. I have an all-clad 24cm (because it’s apparently the same as a WMF) FusionTec that weighs a whopping 4 lbs.

I think this is all about the cooking surface being able to brown and sear better. I will figure out a test run. After I use up my frozen pizza. :joy:

(aside - I learned to cook before nonstick was ubiquitous. And did fine. )

The pan surface is very matte.

3mm.

Yeah that’s the one I got. Mine is just a 28 cm.

I haven’t tried mine yet. But I plan to when I get home from the Hollydays.

I also have a pro 7 24 cm. It’s way thicker than the new one. And I wonder if the new one will warp when it’s only 3 mm thick.

Time will tell.
