Who would have thought that frankincense and myrrh would appear on a menu?!
I’ve had the dish at Alinea and own the cookbook, but have never attempted to recreate the dish at home.

Why anyone thinks those are cookbooks? They are great art photo coffee table books to show off.
PHEASANT - green grape, walnut, burning leaves
A little different that what’s in the cookbook but same basic concept. It was kinda dark in the dining room and I didn’t want to disturb others by using a flash so the pictures are a little fuzzy.
oh good lord. That is the most ridiculously pretentious excuse for presentation I’ve ever seen, and I would have been sorely tempted to send it back and walk out.
