[Macau] Loja Sopa De Fita Cheong Kei

This is my return in 2018. I found this noodle shop from memory. It’s a bit fancier since 2007 and 2008 when I visited Macau in my youthful reckless novice backpacking and eating days. Stayed at hotel Vila Universal both times, the noodle shop is right across the street. The owner gave us the exact same room both times and no English was spoken back then. [image] Found it! [Macau] Bamboo noodles and crab congee from Wong Kun Sio Kun, Rua Do Campo

This traditional Cantonese noodle & congee shop specialises in bamboo-pressed noodles. The owner-chef, Cheang Kun Chi, has over 35 years’ experience in this traditional technique. He opened Wong Kun Sio Kun in 2000, and gained populariy for his fine-textured noodles, topped with dried shrimp roe (called “ha chi” in Cantonese).
