Best in show for both pears and blue cheese!

Our grocer keeps discounting rogue blue cheese wedges that get older, such that $12 wedges now cost 4. I keep buying and freezing them. After the last grocery trip when apparently we were up to about 8 of these my kids told me to chill on the cheese!

I just eat it as is. Delicious!!

The last of this year’s Cougar Gold has now gone through the grater, thanks to the DOTQ thread on quiche. Here with CG, bacon, spinach, milk, cream, sour cream, and seasonings. I made one pie for the freezer, and prepped everything for second, identical quiche for tomorrow’s dinner.
