Lunch. A rarebit for one of us. Two slices of toasted tasty sourdough with a tangy rarebit topping and a side salad. Bacon was an extra. For the other, crispy chicken, drizzled with sticky sesame sauce. Alongside, a salad of noodles and kimchi. Needed more kimchi but pleasant enough. Then we had a good mooch round the shop looking for those vital kitchen gadgets that you didn’t know you needed. We came away with an oven cleaning kit – coz we know how to live on the edge, ya know.
