Baked Arancini

Anybody has a tested and good recipe for baked arancini that is appealing to kids (5-7 yrs old)? Will be hosting a lunch with several preparations by few people in the kitchen, I wouldn’t have time nor space to deep fry. Thanks .

We buy arancini from a guy at the farmers market, so they are cooked and just need heating through. We freeze them and defrost before heating up for 20 minutes at 180. Worth checking with a skewer to see if they need a couple more minutes to heat the middle properly. So, if you’re making from scratch, it should be an easy job to make them in advance and just warm through

You mean when you bought them they were deep fried already, or you mean the risotto was cooked but not the breadcrumbs outside?

Completely finished, including breadcrumbed. Literally ready to eat once heated through.

Here’s the guy’s website for info:

I’m with @Harters on pre-fried.
(Alternatively, switch to something like meatballs if it doesn’t spoil your menu)

I think you are right. Oven baked without pre-cooked probably won’t end up uniformly cooked breadcrumbs.

Thanks @Harters, this is a good idea to serve deep fried breadcrumbs food, without the last minute hassle.

Probably will do a few test to compare the results.
