Aldi Products Yea/Meh/Nay 2025-2026

Is that the jarred simmer sauce?

No, a frozen entree.

Nay on Seedtastic bread, which I found dry and tasteless.

I like that one toasted. It’s not as sweet as Dave’s Killer bread.

Yea for the snack packs of cheese, i.e. gouda and havarti. A lot of those are usually pretty flavorless, but I thought these were nice. I’ve only tried the gouda ones yet and they’re goud.

Solid YEA for the refrigerated ranch dressing. While it couldn’t possibly replace my favorite, it was good enough that we just polished off 3 Persian cukes with it.

I just did a taste comparison between this one and the TJ’s buttermilk ranch.

I think I prefer the Aldi version, but MAAAAN it is SAL-TAY. Whew. Even for a salty gal like me. OTOH, if yer dressing iceberg or cukes with it you kinda need assertive seasoning.

Nay for Park Street Deli Burnt Pork Ends: way too salty and also too sweet. Plus the last package has several pieces of gristle.

I tried 'em, too, when they were on sale. Disappointing all the way around. Then again, why would I think burnt ends would turn out from that. I’ll burn them ends myself from here on out.

We got them once for camping, and I thought they were fine, but not a repeat. Agree that they are salty. The carnitas are better.

I didn’t toss 'em. They we between aight and meh for me. MID! as my kids would say.

Is it this one?

Bc I literally just came here to post a YEA. Only 1g of sugar, and we like the seeds.

Yes, that’s the one. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

Absolutely. Taste is subjective, after all

Dunno what you had on it, but the egg salad lubed all that dryness away…

Has anyone tried this? Their Specially Selected products are usually quite good, but I didn’t pull the trigger.
