They’re tasty. We buy them a lot and like them better than the other brand of soup dumplings that Costco tends to sell alternately with Mila.
YAY My Costco in SSF just started carrying fresh shallots, terrific price. There’s one store in my neighborhood that sells them for a good price but this is way better.
I always have shallots in the house. I think I got started on them when I read Paul Prudhomme’s cookbook recommending them.
Super jealous! That would be a good price for just one pound
Yes, I tried them last night and thought they were pretty good - between a meh and a yay. The broth has some flavor, the pork is a little tough, the wrappers aren’t too thick, and with some black vinegar and finely diced ginger they make an easy cheap meal.
YAY SSF Costco has started selling a 2-pack of Milk Bread; I like it toasted.
Those are my favorite olives, but I prefer them with pits.
Me, too. Without pits they seem too soft I find. Wonder if these are good.
Agree.
Agreed - Mr. Bionda liked the other kind too, but I thought their skins were tough and the filling not that interesting. The Mila are better - not restaurant quality, but tasty enough for a frozen product.
Interesting, we much prefer the synear but will probably buy these again.
That seems like a good idea.
Removing churros from the food court menu was a bad move
Costco - farmed, fresh, never frozen steelhead - 5 meals aka 10 servings . . .
the steelhead was less expensive than a 5.2 lb/2.35kilo package of ground beef . . .
given the quality and availability of very good calzone in NYC, I’d like to say adding these massive calzones to the east harlem food court was also a bad move, but they seem to be popular with my fellow costco shoppers.
best,
More calories, the more better.
I would dust that off in one meal. Bravo.
that’s a 10" knife in the pix . . . sa-lotta’ fish for a ‘one done&down’ meal (g)!
