$3.99 at my local GO.

Agreed. Our Medford location changed ownership and the previous employees and product mix both changed for the worse.

I thought these were fine but benefitted from more seasoning.

It’s also made by A-sha. I see tons of their noodles at my GO.

I shop the most at the Palo Alto location. It usually has a subset of the inventory of the Redwood City location, which I also shop at.

I haven’t seen any interesting ice cream, olive oil, cheese, snacks, pasta for months!

The East Hayward GO appears to have stopped selling single avocados (just the large bags now) and the grass-feed ground beef and lamb we like.

Watsonville, CA:
Siggi plain non-fat drinkable yogurt, 30oz $3.69
Muir Glen organic tomato puree, 28oz “we support our firefighters” $.99

Agree with others that there’s not many unique finds at GO these days

The East Hayward GO has been totally reconfigured–wider aisles, different configurations, etc. Fewer items on the shelves, but the ones remaining look better “curated” than before.

This week’s find: a 2-oz. package of La Quercia Prosciutto Americano for $3.99.

One of the better shopping trips in the last few months. I got a couple of the Cabots.

Nice haul! Nonni’s biscottis are the best commercial brand we’ve found. Far superior to most. And Cabot’s is a great Cheddar! Melt it over a Model Bakery’s English muffin and you have the best cheese toastie ever, LOL.

As “anaxgourous” noted, the GO 20% Fall wine sale will be Nov 6 -12 and those with the app will get early access.

“jkaybay” at Grocery Outlet Ethical Bargains recommends these wines:

My picks for the sale, as usual, start out by looking at my favorite finds over the last few months. Some may not be available, so here’s a longer list of six that were memorable:

  1. Grant Burge, The Holy Trinity, GSM, Barossa, Australia, 2018. $9.99
  2. Mon Frère, cabernet sauvignon, California, 2021. $5.99
  3. Sabotage, cabernet sauvignon, Napa, California, 2018. $9.99
  4. Domaine de Beaumefort, Côtes du Rhône Villages, 2022. $8.99
  5. Post House Road, cab sauv, Livermore Valley, California, 2021. $8.99
  6. St. Hallett, Blackwell Shiraz, Barossa, Australia, 2018. $6.99

Also some some recent recs from GrossOutWine

this is a bit of a sleeper. my local picked up a large lot and i wound up getting a few cases. good balance, leaning towards the crisp side. consistent across six bottles sampled, no sign of storage issues.

True Oak, 2022, Napa, Sauv. Blanc $6

GO has become way more standard, less deals, gourmet and oddball items. That said, I saw this in Alameda GO, ground goat meat. Funny thing a stocking clerk was there when I picked it up. I said wow. She said it’s suppose to be good. I said, I’ll wait for a whole roasted. She said, that’s what everyone says. I have no idea what to use for.
