Is that the only Sky Valley sauce at the store?

I got one of their sauces a few years back and enjoyed it.

Yes, that was the only Sky Valley sauce on the shelf.

I got the Sky Valley Green Sauce at Oakland a few weeks ago that had a sharp heat, but not overbearing, with a citrus and lemon kick. I really liked it. It also was $2.99. There should be a lot of the Taiwanese super hot sauces left.

Best by date late September.

I used to see Luigi’s Italian Ice cups all the time in the supermarkets in NYC. The East Hayward GO currently has Luigi’s Gelato cups, in mint chocolate chip and cannoli flavors.

The absinthe should give it a light anise taste, though I’m not sure why they’re using a strong alcoholic spirit rather than just anise seeds.

In a Monday press release, Supervisor Aaron Peskin confirmed that a Grocery Outlet will replace the former Safeway site located at 320 Bay St., in a move that will offer affordable groceries for locals in the touristy Fisherman’s Wharf and North Beach neighborhoods. (source: Chron)

Anyone willing to share their favorite GO location/s in San Francisco + peninsula? I’m in SF a lot these days without a lot of spare time to visit them all.
My GO “conversion experience” was at GO Redwood City maybe 15 years ago–got a case of Tornio Ventresca for under $2 a jar. Good times!
Thanks in advance.

I actually have been quite disappointed with my local GO in the last few months. I don’t know if its because the ownership changed or just GO has grown large now. But the ‘goodie selection’ in each shopping trip is getting smaller and smaller. Rarely now am I walking out with more than 5 things I consider interesting. That used to happen every week.

Which one is your local one? I’m excited about the Fisherman’s Wharf., Bay Street one because that will become my local one  .

Yeah, I agree, it feels like I used to buy fun things just because they were crazy cheap, now not as much.

Super-excited because I work near there, and I’m expecting it to have fancier items than my local GO in East Hayward.
