Still using the yummly.
Wasn’t accurate with a New York strip the other day.
Has it been ok with other cooking? I still haven’t broken mine in yet. Was going to break it out during Thanksgiving.
I think I’ve been using it exclusively with oven roasted proteins (salmon, pork, chicken).
I lost my Meater during my Thanksgiving trip and bought a new one, a MEATER Plus, today.
Lost opportunity to call it the MEATIER. bada tsssss

Wow! I guess they didn’t win the thermometer battle.
ETA Curious about your screen name! I used to know someone by that name, I think on Medscape.
I am a neurologist in Rhode Island, but I don’t think I’ve posted on Medscape. What little posting I do nowadays is on Slow Europe (formerly SlowTravel) or the Komodo Kamado forums - same user name.
BTW, I decided on the Combustion Predictive Thermometer. It works quite well.
Was there a reason you chose the Combustion over Thermoworks’ RFX?
For what it’s worth
At the time I was shopping, Thermoworks had not yet released theirs. I have more Thermoworks products than I’d like to say so I probably would have purchased theirs if it were available. That is not to say that I’m unhappy with Combustion. Quite the contrary.
