Dangling modifiers, aka dangling participles, actually lead to some pretty funny stuff. Here’s an example (keeping with the food theme of HO): Having just come back from shopping at the supermarket, my refrigerator was well-stocked.
Or, after a trip down Tater Tit Lane, my refrigerator was well stacked.
Hooking up words and phrases and clauses.
