Where are my NJ Peep's???????

I’ve second CURLz and Mz…both done

F’ that I’m going wind surfing!!

I went up to go out this morning - surf was sh*t. Very sloppy around the high tide. We’ll see again tomorrow, but it’s probably body surfing at best for me.

So I responded in the outrageous sushi post over there finally. I guess Disney’s don’t do onions.

Ps. I have started a new sport over there. I’m deliberately pushing the envelope to see what flies and what gets shot down.

Today it was a thread on butt cracks and the Vatican…

LOL you’re really cracking me up, Viking! I’VE found that on the rare occasions where I’ve mentioned things like “There’s a longer post about this on hungry onion (dot) org” that the posts have actually stayed up. Of course, I do this in the middle of legit info about a restaurant/market/whatever. And you get more mileage by doing that on a thread that’s being followed by many, but I’ve only done it a few times and they haven’t slapped my hand or taken down the posts. They must see that there’s very little traffic and I have to believe that they occasionally READ the threads, but who knows?

So one thing I have been doing is flaming out and then going back three days later and see if I can sneak a slightly sanitized version past them. You’d be surprised, but usually I can get the comment back up there.

It’s actually hilarious.

Chow hound is a ghost town. Don’t you think the owner of that site would have fired the moderators before everyone left?

I’ve been busy irritating them on the NYC board as well.

You know one of the jerks over there criticized my sense of humor as corny ?

Duuh. Watch my thumb.

Funny–I was just over there reading Viking’s post about the dearth of good restaurants in NJ…for those who don’t know it, Chowhound (and yes, we’re allowed to mention it here, as it helps with SEO) is now owned by CBS. And since they took over (a while now), the site takes FOREVER to load because of all of the ads and crap they run in the background. This happens on the PC as well as on mobile. And it SUCKS. How many times have you clicked to read the latest post on a thread only to be taken to an ad because the page jumps? That turns me off just as much (maybe more) than the moderators.
