I had a cat who died unexpectedly. She had not exhibited any symptoms and had been vetted regularly. One night she hid under a small table and would not budge. I took her to the vet the next morning. She died there while they were working on her. Her bloodwork “was not compatible with life.” You did the right thing.

Was having a lousy day today (mostly missing my monkey boy), and my PIC surprised me with these beautiful flowers, 
*which we would have to hide behind closed doors if our boy were still around. The irony isn’t lost on me, trust.

I’ve offered this both in a local ‘buy nothing’ subreddit, as well as one devoted to feline diabetes. No takers yet. If you or someone you know has a cat with feline diabetes that is already prescribed and is responding well to taking Bexacat, please let me know.
There are 24 of the original 30 pills left.
I will happily drop the bottle into a padded envelope and mail it anywhere in the US.

My vet takes prescribed unused pills back, and gives a refund.

I’m happy (?) to report that someone on the feline diabetes subreddit has responded. They have a relatively young cat that has been on the drug for almost a year and responded very well to it. I’m glad that these will go towards someone else having a longer time with a healthier pet.
