Oh dear, he’s in Mt Shasta. Hope he’s ok. Friends of ours used to live in that area. The threat of wildfires became too much for them despite the natural beauty.
No . Fires are 60 miles away.

Got a message from an NP in my cardiologist’s office re: the follow-up echo I had on 6/30:
“Normal echo. Heart function has returned to normal. Otherwise structurally normal heart. No heart valve disease.”
That’s a REALLY good Monday afternoon message from your doctor. Thank you, Beth Israel-Lahey Burlington. I can walk 1.5 miles in 30 minutes almost every weekday on the treadmill at work with no issue.
Please listen to what your body is telling you, folks.

My birthday is Saturday. Have my 3 best friends coming tomorrow through the weekend. Lots of wine , food , and playing music . And fishing.
Headed up to the hat creek volunteer fire department deep pit barbecue. On Saturday. Its my 11th year . They have been doing this for 45 years . Its so good . Its at the heford ranch . Music , a raffle , awesome food . A steal at 20 dollars for that extra large plate of food . Those beans , and the tender beef .Oh and the salad . They pile it on .
This will replace pizza Saturday. Cheers
