You can also use those coagulating nosebleed plugs (Bleed Arrest)to stop the bleeding. They also have bandaids with the coagulating stuff in the pads (used to be called M-Doc, I think) but the bandaids are. hard to find in stores. I keep a stash of stop-the-blood stuff. I had terrible nosebleeds around 10 years ago. Knock on wood no more, but for cuts the blood stop items work great.

I hope it stops soon.
My wife once cut her thumb with a chefās knife, and it bled profusely, so I took her to the ER. The doctor asked what happened, to which she said that she cut herself with one of my big knives. He immediately turned to me (looked like he was ready to call the cops on me). I just shrugged and said, āIām a serious cook; I have big knives.ā That was it, apart from the stitches she needed.
