Shit. A good friend of mine is traveling there today 
If I understood the weather report, the biggest concern is for the mountain areas. If they are on the coast, they will probably be ok!

If you’re in San Diego, one of my favorite sushi places is down in the gas lamp district is Taka. It’s not the most super high end, but it’s very VERY good, we’ve always had great service and most importantly, I’ve had the BEST uni I’ve ever had there on more than one occasion.
Also fun is Lefty’s, a little place that does Chicago Deep Dish and Italian Beef. Both very solid renditions.

Thanks! I will keep it in mind for the next trip. We have a reservation for Sunday at Shino, which we can walk to from the hotel. They always treat us well, too! Lefty’s sounds awesome!
Lefty’s is good, but I don’t know about putting Chicago-style pizza in San Diego on a short-list of meals

Our Friday is likely Rei de Gado. Sunday is Shino Sushi and Kappo. Most nights I’m happy to toddle up to Bolt Brewery on India Street.

Not to be morbid or even immediate, but I found this info some time back and was glad to learn recently the option still exists. Just speaks to me. Anyone else?

Just finished making pizza dough for Saturday. 68 % hydration. A little more sticky than 62 % . I ordered 10 more kilos of Antimo Caputo pizzaria blue oo flour last night . Way better deal than buying two at a time .
Pizza this Saturday might have fruit on it and its not pineapple. Where’s my woody woodpecker emoji .

Boneless chicken wings can contain bones?
The Ohio Supreme Court has ruled on this. According to the argument,
‘boneless’ is a cooking method and everyone should be aware that chicken contains bones. Be careful out there! Especially in Ohio!
