Jammy jr. is doing very well, thank you. It’s so nice to see such great pain relief after a procedure. There will be a few sore days and weeks ahead, but this will heal. Modern medicine is amazing.

So nice to hear. When I worked for a pharma we liked to say it offered better living through chemistry :smile: No reason to suffer in pain in this day and age. I’m sure junior will be up and about before you know it.

In the country. Son came over for pizza. Altho we have a wood burning oven, we opted for easy in the kitchen’s 50 year old range with gas oven . Two different styles, two cooking methods.
One on pizza stone preheated for 45 minutes at 550F; other on thin aluminum cookie sheet placed directly on oven floor. Both came out with hoped for degree of charring, leoparded bottom crusts. Well satisfied. (Dough from KA unbleached flour.). Guess we’re not difficult customers.

You may have all ready but would you mind sharing what pizza oven you decided to get? We just redid our deck and I’m thinking about getting one that I can keep outside. Thanks

I should add that were we starting out today we would opt for one of the ovens like you’ve considered. Our honking wood-burning oven requires at least an hour to build up fire, and must be attended at all times there is live fire and open door. I also admit that I am not of the “experience” generation but the “get the food on the table” mindset. Particularly when husband has invited a handful of eager friends or neighbors. IMHO, pizza is labor intensive, from making the dough to prepping toppings.
