You just can’t help dissing my blobs of catsup , eh. So predictable
Aww, hon. It’s ok. You can eat ALL the catsup in the world. I’m not on the market anymore anyway
It’d been far too long since I last had a taco flight from my favorite taco purveyor — at least 3 weeks!
Two Cajun shrimp tacos, one roast pork (nice n lardy). Hit the spot, although the guy was unfortunately out of his legendary berry hot sauce. He offered to make some for us, but we didn’t want our tacos to get cold. He told us to order the shrimp tacos “extra-spicy” next time, and he promised to put on more Cajun seasoning. He’s adorable
Ingenious combo.
Not enough ketchup.
The thickness of that bread, I would need at least 2 maybe 3 bottles worth of the red nectar.
It was the perfect amount, a dunk for every bite and nothing left on the plate.
Sometimes I put diced avocado IN THE EGG SALAD. Like a boss.
And then top an avocado with that avocado infused egg salad like the said boss you are.
And ikura. Egg on egg on avocado on avocado.
A stingy lunch today, grilled Munster cheese with a swipe of hot Clementine jam between the slices…which made the sandwich slip/slide when I put a weight on it

Dessert was passionfruit pastry cream, savoaiardi cookies, sprinkling of coconut, passionfruit curd on the side.
Grass-clippings salad leftover from last night’s dinner, made more edible by being topped with sautéed KOS & pumpkin seeds.
Pasta it is for lunch, especially when I was short on time and imagination. Meat sauce, a scoop of homemade ricotta, pecorino and basil.
And a favorite dessert when I have pears, pear, almond gratin, never get tired of this!
Super Bowl special. Queso Fundido tacos (filling consists of Oaxaca cheese, queso quesadilla cheese, chorizo, poblano and serrano chile, and onion) served with warmed “mixto” tortillas (combination corn and flour tortilla. Thanks Vallarta!)
Gorgeous salad and gorgeous plate!
Thank you, the Cara Cara oranges are really delicious! I thought about adding blue cheese but the olives were easier to find.
