I hope this can be discussed without getting political or contentious, but I am consistently baffled by just how affordable our meals are here - despite the fact that wait staff is generally paid more than in the US, there seems to be no pressure to turn tables multiple times in one night, and rents aren’t exactly a steal, at least in Berlin. My PIC and I are finally back in Berlin after various delays, and I’ll be posting noteworthy meals for the next two months. First up: Good Thai down the road from us: we split som tam, summer rolls with shrimp, and yum nua.
