Happy Birthday! That looks like a fabulous dinner. Tonight was also Mrs. P’s birthday. We enjoyed an outstanding dinner at Cafe Matisse in Rutherford, NJ including panko crusted long stem artichoke wrapped in speck ham; smoked swordfish loin carpaccio with soba noodles; crispy panko crusted crab cake and chipotle honey glazed shrimp; pan seared scallop with rabbit loin and cocoa foie gras croquette; Teriyaki glazed pan seared Rohan duck breast and miso glazed foie gras; pan seared Chilean sea bass and popcorn coconut shrimp; and a brownie for dessert. It all went great with our favorite wines of Caymus cabernet and Cooper and Thief red blend aged in bourbon barrels.
