It’s one of my favorite dishes, so glad I learned it from my mom.

Have you ever attempted it with whole wheat orzo?

I have not, I wonder if cooking times need to be adjusted with the WW orzo?

Nice steak! What about the sides or did you just stand at the kitchen counter and hoover up the slices of beefy beef?

Mostly followed the recipe link, although I used Tangerine juice (no OJ) and lots of dried orange zest. Needed more to be more orangey.

Boneless pork chop, sliced thinly, and had sliced carrots, sugar snap peas, red bell pepper and onions as the veg. Needed WAY more ginger than called for (I even added ground ginger and it was “less than” I’d prefer).

I added chopped cashews. Because I can.

Wine alongside.

I’ve been looking for whole wheat orzo. Where do you get it?

Spicy Tex Mex bean soup with shredded chicken, avocado, and a habanero-yogurt crema. Tortilla chips on the side.

Bean soup recipe from the NYT here (gift link).
