We felt like an easy, light summer meal. I wanted shrimp. A peek at my NYT recipe box with its millions of recipes delivered a worthy candidate: pla goong.
I plumped up the big & snappy BTS from Aldi in the fridge for most of the afternoon & poached them briefly before tossing them with the wonderful sauce. I’d cut down on the sugar even more next time, but other than that it was fantastic. Key is to chop those sturdy lime leaves into oblivion. And of course we added more Thai bird peppers than called for
