When I saw the article about the SEA market in the Inquirer this morning, I remembered that we still had two unopened packages of sausage in the freezer from our last visit in November
They came in handy, as we still had a buncha bok choy and napa cabbage from Saturday’s hot pot dinner in the crisper, and I’ve been enjoying our thriftier meals lately.
We thawed one of each (a salty/sweet one & my favorite, sai oua) and cooked them in the air-fryer bc they exude a LOT of grease. TJ’s veg stir-fry was augmented with a couple of scrambled eggs & the crisper veggies. I added the 2 shrimp from last night’s shrimp cocktail, too. Despite having added 5-6 Thai bird peppers, it wasn’t very spicy. We added some of that magical kumquat hot sauce to remedy
