We use TJ’s dough often for our pizza. Works really well.

Chicken legs were on sale, so I decided to make a batch o’ chicken & rice. Forgot to buy a carrot, which adds a bit of “sweetness” and color, but it still turned out well

Is nutmeg the secret ingredient there?

This is the best antipasto platter I have ever had delivered:

Domenic’s, Waltham, MA. Capicola, mortadella, prosciutto coto, sharp provolone, smoked mozzarella, roasted peppers, marinated artichoke hearts, and olive-caper salad on a giant bed of their house salad. There’s a balsamic vinaigrette if you want it too. They are now offering their awesome ciabatta as a side. Perfection.

Mish mosh tonight – the last of the baba ghanoush and some hummus with crudite and ww flatbread. Later, a ground turkey taco with red beans, Greek yogurt, salsa, and cheese. Worked.

The nutmeg combined with the use if a bit more olive oil than normal and cooking it down with the heavy cream which all together gave a surprisingly complex sauce

Linguine with the last of the Italian sausage and artichoke ragu out of the freezer, to which I added a sliced endive. Delicious. I ate half so probably that’s WFD tomorrow night too although being a Friday there may also be a martini which did not happen tonight.

I made some Thai red curry paste with an immersion blender yesterday following this recipe:

And today I made some Thai red curry with chicken, kabocha squash, and Thai eggplant.

I love steak & shrooms, and — as I was saying to my friend last night at a martini bar — a martini is the perfect pairing with steak (or oysters, or… nothing)

Thai Shrimp Taco - shrimps are briefly cooked in a mixture of coconut cream, minced makrut lime leaves, Thei green curry paste, sugar, Thai chili and minced Thai basil and than cooled down. Served in a corn tortilla with Thai slaw (shredded napa cabbage, Thai chili, Thai basil, cilantro, lime juice, rice vinegar), Thai basil and chili-garlic sauce

Homemade Curry Paste is so much more nuanced than the commercial Pastes.
Curious about what kind of Red Chilis you used or did you skip them?

That looks amazing! Yay for Domenic’s!

I’m going to have to remember this place as an option when visiting my mother. She lives in Newton but I stay on Crescent Street in Waltham.
