We were def not up for another party night 
After a very slow start we ventured out for a brief shopping trip: three bunches of dill for my xmas eve gravlax I’m starting tomorrow, and my PIC had to get the ingredients for orange cake & coquito. The rest of the day was spent in my brand-new, soft & cozy xmas pajamas. It’s the little things 
As for dinner, comfort food was in order: chitarra cacio e pepe with peas and a light green salad with walnut vinaigrette & pepitas.
I toasted the peppercorns in a pan before bashing them up in a mortar & pestle, which really made the pepper shine, and the peas added a nice, fresh crunch & sweetness to an otherwise pretty basic dish.
Oh, and since the outdoor lights on our xmas tree (in my profile header) no longer work 
, we finally put up our indoor xmas tree.
