Thanks! It’s got, among other things, whole grain mustard, coconut, garlic, ginger, and chiles!

You reminded me that I still have the spice paste for this too :woman_facepalming:t2:

Looks great!

Looks great! What was blah? Not enough aromatics / seasonings?

Thanks! I found a tub with some of the leftover sauce for the Andhra style fish from Gunpowder in there too. I see that happening sometime soon (hopefully)!

I scratched an itch. Grilled Johnsonville jalapeno, cheddar smoked sausage on a buttered and toasted baguette with onion, mustard, pickle relish. Baked potato salad, red onion, red pepper, hbe, dill pickles, dill, celery salt, pepper, mayo and sour cream dressing a sprinkle of paprika. And Kettle sea salt chips.

I refilled my masa supply today. They didn’t have blue corn masa so I just got a couple pounds of the regular white corn. Dinner was tacos with chorizo and potatoes with tortillas made with the aformentioned masa.

Easy drive back home yesterday. Doc appointments went well (woohoo), and we had a little time to shop for essentials before settling in at our friend’s pad, who is currently in HK & generously offered up his digs for us to crash. Ladies night was small, but a lovely bday celebration for our GF — if not technically a ladies night since my peen came along

He had a Reissdorf, I had a lovely Edelweiss (citron vodka, elderflower, lime, and something else) I found so refreshing I got another one

Almost the entire table got the very delicious spinach salad with Asian pear, radish, cabbage, peppadews, and walnuts in an apple cider vinaigrette.

Could’ve used a creamy / salty ingredient like cheese, but we snarfed it up anyway. We also shared the Spanish chowder with chorizo, whitefish, corn, potatoes and kale, which was wonderful.

Alas, a peen cannot subsist on half a salad & chowder alone, so we ordered 10 wings when we returned to the pad, and I made a little tasting ‘buffet’ with 3 different sauces.

The spicy & savory sauce on the left was my fave (must find!!!), my dude preferred the “Indian-ish” inflected tamarind sauce (not hot enough for me). The jalapeño garlic wasn’t bad either.

Watched the stupid Dodgers beat the stupid Mets & called it a night. Up earlier than I’d like to be, but my mammo and Cajun shrimp tacos are obligations I must heed. Sichuan jour fixe tonight

Very quick, easy, mediocre dinner last night: bagged Caesar and a frozen Aldi lasagna. But it got the job done.
