I had their “warm spinach & mushroom salad with feta & red onions.” It was not a salad. It was a ginormous bowl of sautéed spinach & mushrooms — so ginormous that they must’ve used 10 bags of spinach!
It was delish, but not very photogenic, and we were in a dark corner of the bar, so you’ll just have to picture it in yer pretty headses.
As for WFD tonight, I’ll likely order something to take home after the gig since the kitchen closes at 9pm and I have ZERO intentions of hanging out for another party night.

Last night I made pasta with red kidney bean sauce. I found it by doing a Google search awhile ago since I had a few kidney beans left from a dish I was making and was thinking of using them in a pasta e fagioli however I prefer a dish with a little more oomph. This sauce is quite nice since the beans are cooked in a little tomato paste with balsamic vinegar, dried oregano, cayenne and smoked paprika. It almost tastes like a bbq sauce (and vegan friendly for those that are on a plant based diet). And I had a corn on the cob on the side.
Oh my gosh. I want to jump right into that picture and start eating. Just beautiful.
Tater tot nachos as a reward for a very busy work week! I used frozen Alexa black pepper tots as a base. This was just what the doctor ordered (plus a lot of Sauvignon Blanc🤣)!
I can smell it from my recliner from the kitchen - he’s doing a pot roast in the pressure cooker. And I’m still trying to survive bad food from our local dive bar last lunch - it’s probably not going to give me grace for a whole generation. I am so incredubly sick. I can’t walk without throwing up. Don’t know what the hell they were thinking in then back of the house but my stomach was their target.

The BF, however, plates nicely but seems to do it quickly, so the food doesn’t get cold.
