As they say better late than never –
Southeast Asian food crawl for Father’s day. The Sprout saw a TikTok about a Southeast Asian market in Philadelphia and thought it would be something fun to do for Father’s Day. Luckily Mr Bean agreed.
The market is located in FDR Park, across from the sports complex, in what I think of as the real South Philly. We did a quick walkthrough to get a sense of what is available and then backtracked and started eating. Many of the vendor booths had similar menus so when there was a choice between them we typically went to the ones with the longest lines. That gave us the opportunity to ask others what they recommend. We had some great food and would definitely go back.
