The sprinkles in the shape of a heart is PERFECT!!

I still use your cookie cutter trick to make a candy heart on Sunshine’s cake!!

I need to find a slightly bigger heart cookie cutter, as Sunshine loves that part of the cake.

They tend to go rogue sometimes, I try and add the sprinkles while the frosting is still soft so they don’t migrate too much. That is the larger heart shaped cookie cutter I have , I did consider doing 3 hearts but thought better of that idea😁!

The cake had cocoa and the glaze had 54% chocolate. I usually put chunked up chocolate in the cake but I didn’t this time and I missed it.

A lovely new cookie creation from our Turkish patisserie delivery: Turkish coffee with olive oil and sea salt.

Fabulous new addition to the lineup :star_struck:

Honey lavender baklava, a Ramadan special from our favorite Turkish cookie purveyor

Her Turkish friends said “that doesn’t exist,” so I told her to tell them “now it does.”

I’m not too fond of lavender as an ingredient, but this was very subtle.

Pistachio roll filled with pistachio crème (65%) and chopped pistachios. Brushed with a little bit of honey and chopped pistachios. This was particularly delicious as it was not sweet, from the book,
“Turkuaz Kitchen”.
