Oh my. ![]()
Our current obsession: Tillamook hazelnut chocolate & mocha almond fudge with homemade dark berry sauce.
A rather excellent combo.

Amaretti cookies, two versions.
Almond on the bottom layer, pistachio on top. These are soft on the inside and a thin crisp shell.
I wax nostalgic for the ol’ Lazzaroni wrappers that my family termed “Italian fireworks.”
I actually have a large can of them, I should save the wrappers rather than flame them!
The cookies above are the “morbido” style rather than the crunchy ones.
I tried with another brand (like Laxzaroni, made with noyeaux), and was annoyed when they didn’t float properly when ignited!
Loved them…impossible to find here. I remember amaretti by Stella Doro way back when.
Our “refill” for the weekend. The triple chocolate pistachio was still too warm to cut into when they were delivered yesterday afternoon. I also had a lil slice of the CC walnut cookie.
A rather decadent Mondae:
Tillamook coffee almond fudge with banana (the only use for those suckahs), figs, chopped walnuts, whipped cream, chocolate sauce. I wanted an Amarena cherry on top, but my PIC wouldn’t allow it ![]()
My PIC’s pistachio ice cream. He absolutely outdid himself this time around. With toasted and raw pistachios, and rivers of pistachio crema.
Our beloved Turkish patissiere is closed over the holidays, so my boo made pistachio cookies. Nutty, 'stachio-y, and not too sweet ![]()
