What to move to a temporary kitchen during a renovation?

Bravo

The main reason we havenā€™t had any work done on the kitchenā€¦

Well, my first thought was a storage locker is not a good place for real kitchen itemsā€¦I would be concerned about the temperature during the summer, the humidity especially in the winter, and the condensation on the back of the fridge. There are a few other options that are less expensive and more safe. One is to rent a storage locker. Some are climate controlled and they are safer. Another is to rent a small storage unit near your home. It might be a little more expensive than a locker but it is still cheaper than a full blown unit. Just my opinion. Hope this helps.

Iā€™d reconsider the Breville oven. In an apartment kitchen, it can be a wonder appliance.

I use my countertop oven for pretty much everything, from making toast to reheating food to baking cookies/cake/bread to roasting veg/meats/fish to cooking lasagna.

I donā€™t know how old your kids are, but my nephews can operate the countertop oven for simple tasks.
