What Should I Bring for Thanksgiving?

Here’s me reporting back. I arrived later than expected, so I put out 4 kinds of pickles and sausage balls (using Vivian Howard’s recipe). People demolished the sausage balls, but the pickles weren’t very popular. We ate at 5:30 which was an improvement over my expectations. I made roasted brussel sprouts with bacon, walnut, pickled chiles, and a hard white cheese topped with fried shallots. I think it worked pretty well.
