What’s the diff between an air fryer and a toaster oven with a convection setting?

On the Breville being a mediocre toaster: I agree. But I’ve found a workaround. Part of the problem is that the bread is too far from the heat source in the middle of the oven. So I put the tray high, set the oven to broil, then broil each side in turn. But you do have to watch to avoid burning. This approach works very well if you want cheese toast: broil one side to the desierd brownness, flip and very lightly brown the other. Then pull out, throw on a sliced of cheese (and in our case, slivers of grape tomatoes and olives), put back under the broiler till cheese is bubbly.

Any recommendations for air fryers with glass bowls or baskets? Sort of like the one below. Sorry if this is off topic.

I like being able to see things too, but also the glass basket/bowl is dishwasher safe and isn’t plastic or teflon. I see these on the market but not many reviews. Many say borosilicate glass as well, which makes sense.
