I went to see them last month with Mudhoney and after Mudhoney played the Meat Puppets drummer came out and said two of the band had tested positive for Covid (while Mudhoney was playing), so they didn’t play - bummer it was the last night of their tour.

Sadly, my usual fun with the kids was killed today. We usually buy dry ice at the grocer and make bombs from it (a bit of dry ice in a plastic bottle with some water to accelerate sublimation, capped).
They were completely out of it. Never seen that before, any time of year. Maybe their supply of it was short, I don’t know.
But - no dry ice bombs for this 4th of July.
Bummer!

Photo update. Lameness alert. So the pizza was made cooked and eaten. We did let the dough rise and then smush it down while it was on the fajita pan. Right before we did the pre bake we took a pic. About taking a pic of the finished product well um that is where the wheels fell off the cart. We snarfed it down and then went to level up the Demon Hunter using my tricked out Crusader. Tomorrow we will go to Wegmans and email the pic to ourselves using wegmans wi fi so we don’t eat up all the minutes. Then I can post the pic. It is a nice one. I think some one here reminded me that a 10 or 8 inch cast iron skillet works great. Love to use them for cornbread with some bacon fat but my gas stove has not worked in years. Got a breville convection oven but eventually that died too. Now have a big costco convection oven with cute french doors. I love it because I could roast a 12 lb turkey in it. I have an insane set up that my SO figured out that really should not work. But does. The convection oven sits atop the microwave but with a large cutting board and two large sturdy blocks of wood too for air flow. I used to have an eye level oven back in the day and now I have one again. But I am reluctant to use a heavy cast iron skillet in there because the oven racks are kinda slidy. So this little fajita pan fulfills all my fantasies of baking a pizza right proper. And yes I removed the cute little red handle guard thingies. Pic of half made meal tomorrow!

I put the cute red mittens on my micro-pans and took fajitas over to the neighbors. They texted back their appreciation but not a word about the cute mittens. Btw, mine are not plastic.

I am so jealous of the mittens. Even though I got a better deal than you. Wait you actually used the fajita pans to make fajitas?? Sitting here at my beast of a deck top gaming pc now. I clearly recall the picture you posted of your amazon purchase. And the mittens. Why would I not remember that detail? Sigh. We are obviously on different wave lengths. Am wanting to learn more about the fajitas please. Looks like the dance party is over for now due to work for many tomorrow. Our amazing guardian angel has left the building anyway and I don’t trust myself without her loving protection so might go listen to some of those songs now. I did figure out why Jim Leff was being so nice. Hope he gets grumpy again soon.

I aim to please but I am at heart a gamer. I am a traitor to my kind by not living on hot pockets and crappy store brand frozen pizza Undoctored pizza. If Alan were on this sandbox he would probably correct me mumble mumble know it all mumble but from what I understand the sandwich was invented by some dude who wanted to keep playing cards. Any ideas on how to best drink this stupid Empress gin?

I drink gin with tonic. And sometimes mixed with a glance 
at vermouth. My liver is interviewing divorce lawyers so my recommendation is to pour a glass of lactose free milk instead.

I am only doing it as a penance because you got mad at me and still have not accepted my sincere apology. Last time I posted pics was of freshly made smoothies in my vintage McDonalds glass ware. I think it was on wfd but maybe chowhound. People went apeshit over the glasses.
SO was the really awful thing that happened over a decade ago He was military a gamer and really really good at pinochle too. Was terrified to drink much for years. I find it comforting to talk about him now. I know most don’t buy this but around this time of year he likes to check in on me. Very protective. We were at a bar on Halloween once in costume. He loved Halloween. Some clueless drunk jerk got in between us and I can still see him in my mind’s eye grabbing that jerk by his shirt collar. Dude nearly shit his pants.
Wait, pls. I must have missed your sincere apology but genuinely don’t know what you apologized about. But I will research. I know straight away you owe no one an apology…at least what I’ve read. So as far as we are concerned we are fair and square until I insulted/hurt your feelers. If so, pls advice.
