I know you care about the well being of the Elite restaurant employees. I met a couple of staffers from Elite Restaurant at the newly open Wah Sing Dim Sum. Actually, they spotted me first. We had a chat. They said the fire broke out a little before the restaurant due to open. At least three staffers work here. I am sure the rest just find various shops and restaurants to work at.

I accidentally walked by the New Elite restaurant. At first, I wasn’t sure but the name, the symbols are so much alike. I spoke with the staffs in the restaurant and they have confirmed this is New Elite managed by the same group.
It is quite different. I do not recognize the staff, the restaurant is much smaller (probably a 15 seated restaurant), no more dim sum, and the main course also look different too. The restaurant was empty and service is lacking.
For those who seek Elite restaurant dim sum, I think that Wah Sing Dim Sum place is a suitable alternative.
