There are still 3 locations in NE Ohio!

I like the Bell, too. My standard order was crunchy tacos and bean burritos in various numbers, declining over the years and now down to two tacos and one burrito. I like the burrito with beans, onions, not too much cheese, and sauce. I REALLY miss the green sauce, not the tart one in packets but the spicy green chili one they ladled on.

It surprises me- a lot- that JITB is the favorite in AZ, I have to say that I’m hard pressed to believe it’s correct

It’s the tacos….they sell half a billion a year. And probably the roll over from SoCal.

why?

JITB has nailed the right amount of grease for the first food after excessive drinking. It also tics all the boxes for stoner munchies. It is also inexpensive, a big plus for the underemployed, Maybe AZ has a lot of heavy drinkers and stoners who are underemployed.

We haven’t had a single JITB here for years. There are apparently none left in the Northeast at all.

However, it grieves me to say it, but the consistency from location to location seems to have slipped post-takeover. Also, a couple of years ago they built a Whataburger near me and made a decision I find highly questionable. It has no dine in option. You can order online and pick up your meal outside or go drive through. When I got up today, it was 72 in Austin. In a few months it will be more like 82 and headed for somewhere around 100. So if I want to eat a Whataburger fresh, I am eating it in my car, either sweating or running the car to run the A/C. Of course I can take it home and have it soggy style. So with a Whataburger about three blocks away I have yet to go there. Great promotional advertising for Culver’s!

I got one today! Now THAT’S a fish sandwich. Fried to order. Unfortunately they gave me the spicy when I ordered original, but it was still good. Good bun, good sauce, excellent portion. Well worth the $6 and change.

That! That is like the first one I had. I have yet to find its equal. Beautiful. Coming to where you are, save me a seat.

Oh, you’re in your car, nm.

Sadly, our Cdn Popeye’s only sell chicken.

On my way! How can you tell when they have them?

The Popeyes website lists locations. They also have heavy window signage.

I might have to order again to try the original, you know, for research’s sake.

Even the original is a little spicy.

When a Filet-O-Fish is 2.99 (on Fridays), I’d rather get 2 FoF than 1 Popeyes. Though the Popeyes is very good though

That said, I think the BK Big Fish is better than Popeyes.
