TJ’s sold small jars of it last year. Whether they still stock it, I know not.
Handy for those inclined to burn rather than brown it!
My mother browned butter and tossed it up with steamed green beans, squeeze of lemon, s&p, toasted slivered almonds and with asparagus when in season (as also mentioned upthread).
I’ve used this technique to cook eggs, salmon etc.
Never ever thought of using it in baked goods until my girlfriend sent me the following Rice Krispies treats recipe:
