So, no chickpea burritos for you!
Good burritos are more or less just completely encased tacos
OH, NO! Say it ain’t so
Rick Martinez just put up a recipe for a chickpea picadillo in the NYT and I thought of you It’s behind a paywall, but I’m sure it would make the right person happy, somewhere, as a taco or burrito filling (or, for the purposes of this thread, torta).

That reminds me of what Spawn1 would eat for breakfast when he was in high school: Cold pizza sandwich. Take two slices of pizza, flip one on top of the other, and eat it sandwich-style. Of course, at the time he was running a lot (cross country and track), so he had a really high metabolism.
Ah, those were the dayz… I did both as well
My mom used to take us kids every year. I didn’t really “get it” at the then, but it was good times.
My parents took us to the Italian festival in South Philly every year . . .the smells of the meats and cheeses would blow you away. I later realized this was Philly fan training: a highlight was the young men climbing a tall greased pole to get the sack of expensive Italian meats at the top.
